A cut above

Impala Lodge is a luxury catered ski chalet in Méribel, with a hot tub. If I am being honest, we’re punching above our weight with Impala Lodge. Don’t get me wrong, we are immensely proud of the lovely chalets that we have on our books at The Chalet Company but Impala is a cut above.

Luxury personified

It is the kind of luxury ski chalet whose images you see adorning the pages of some posh travel magazine that targets billionaire oligarchs from Russia! Fortunately The Chalet Company does not charge the type of prices that only oligarchs can afford – you will be getting a lot of bang for your buck!

The open-plan lounge and dining area is a beautiful space with stunning, uninterrupted views of the Méribel Valley that can be fully enjoyed from the huge south-facing terrace. The terrace on the lower ground floor also boasts a sunken hot-tub and sauna house. Also on that floor is the media room with large flat-screen TV and Bose surround sound system.

Plenty of space

There are seven en-suite bedrooms and so the chalet sleeps 14 extraordinarily comfortably. Impala Lodge is located in the lovely hamlet of La Gittaz on the road up to Méribel.

For guests in this chalet, we offer a private mini-bus service to and from the slopes Service available from 8.30am–6.30pm Sunday to Friday.

Now we know why people rave about catered chalet holidays. I doubt all chalets are like Impala, but it doesn’t matter as I’m not sure we will ever stay anywhere else again. We were spoiled rotten by the whole team. The food was fantastic, and we were looked after at every turn……we have never had a ski holiday that felt like such a break from reality. HUGE thank you.

Very impressed by Chalet Impala... what a place! There are just so many stunning features – the hot tub, sauna, terrace, huge open-plan lounge and most of the bedrooms (apart from one small one but it was for a single lady). Food was lovely, Aimee & Charlie were charming hosts and, well, we can’t wait to come back next season!

Central location

Chalet Daurel is located in a great spot in the heart of Mussillon, approximately 400m from Méribel Centre and very close to the resort’s main supermarché and the resort’s go-to night spot: Sully’s Bar! Getting to and from the slopes is super-easy too as the chalet is just 50m from the Méribus stop.

Abundance of space

Once an ancient farmhouse building, Chalet Daurel has been sympathetically renovated and hasn’t the architect done a good job?! Today, you will find a lovely chalet with a whopping amount of floorspace incorporating an open-plan living and dining area, fireplace, balconies, ski room with heated boot-warmers and six en-suite bedrooms. The chalet sleeps 14 comfortably.

Bus service

Please note there is no transfer service from Chalet Daurel but we can organise taxis for you if required and the (free-of-charge) bus stop is just 50 metres from the chalet.

We were a little nervous staying with a mixed group in Chalet Daurel, but it was like Phil had hand-picked us all to stay together. We had a brilliant week and so much fun…..has a group ever beaten our wine and beer consumption? Thanks so much to all the team for a great holiday

Chalet Bruyere

A classic chalet

Bruyere is an absolute classic catered ski chalet. A beautiful stone and wood-clad exterior leads to your classic Alpine interiors – cosy red textiles, wooden panelling, an open fire, and big windows to take in all the views. Chalet Bruyere is so great, it’s been awarded the Label Méribel (indicating the highest standards of chalets in Méribel).

Not only does the chalet look great, it’s got a lot to tick off the ski holiday checklist: open-plan lounge with fireplace, separate TV room, hot tub out on a terrace, six en-suite bedrooms, and a private shuttle service to drive you to the slopes!

Chalet Bruyere is located in the hamlet of Le Raffort on the road up to Méribel. It’s just 150m from the Olympic gondola station that will whisk you up the hill to the main lifts that depart from Méribel in a matter of minutes. At the end of your day, you can ski or ride down the Raffort (blue) run to within 150 metres of the chalet.

Private mini-bus

For guests in this chalet, we offer a private mini-bus service to and from the slopes. Service available from 8.30am–6.30pm Sunday to Friday.

Such a home from home. We loved our stay in cosy Bruyere and the driver service made it feel like everything was on our doorstep. Thank you so much to the team for looking after us so well. Fingers crossed we will be back again soon.

Where do we begin……we had such a brilliant week in Chalet Bruyere, the staff were fantastic and the food was spot on. The hot tub was a big hit after a day on the slopes too!

An honest chalet

Very little annoys the sales person at The Chalet Company more than when the website person (me) says it how it is in the write-up for one of our new chalets… but the belief that honesty is the best policy is strong in our office!

No frills

Chalet Lys Blanc is a nice chalet and there are some features worthy of remark; the bedrooms are incredibly spacious and all have en-suites, the views from the terrace are spectacular, there’s a fireplace in the lounge and you can ski to less than 50m from the chalet.

With added sparkle

The lack of infinity pool, wellness area or cinema room may make it unpalatable for some but that’s ok with us. If it’s ok with you too, you will find Lys Blanc to be a good, solid option for your holiday, it is marketed at very reasonable prices… and the staff of The Chalet Company will add the sparkle!

In this day and age, it’s not often you think a holiday with children is good value, but we definitely felt we got value for money staying in Chalet Lys Blanc with the kids over Christmas. The food was exceptional, and it was so nice to be so spoiled and waited on on Christmas Day. I think this might be our new Christmas tradition.
