What are you most looking forward to about this season?
Having a team in resort again! I am very social and enjoy being around others so can’t wait to get the team out and get back to what will hopefully feel like some sort of normality after a Covid year or two.Did you manage to ski last season?
Yes, I actually did! I even managed to get on a ski lift. I skied in Tignes and did one run in Méribel with the dog chasing me down the hill. Probably her first and last skiing experience!Have you done a season before?
Only one or two… I joke this would be my 11th season and this will be my 6th with The Chalet Company. What’s a fail-safe way to impress guests?!
Being friendly and always having a smile goes a thousand miles. I think having a Scottish accent helps too, although the clients probably don’t understand me half the time. What’s your go-to chairlift snack?

Skier 100%, can snowplough the hell out of a blue run. What do you do on a white-out day?
I usually try to use white out days as the days I get most of the boring admin work done so that I can enjoy the sun and get a few freckles on my face.Where’s your favourite place to ski or ride?
I love skiing in Courchevel. I love corduroy and off piste. Anything in between count me out. What’s your most precious bit of ski kit?
My helmet. I am the clumsiest person I know and so it has saved me quite a few times.Best outfit you’ve seen on the slopes?
Some of The Chalet Company team dressed up as Nuns for a day on the slopes and named ourselves Sister sledge so I would say that’s the best effort I’ve seenWhat makes a really good chalet holiday?

Did you manage to ski last season?
Sadly, I didn’t manage to ski at all last season, although Scotland has an excellent snow year, I spent the pandemic at my family home in Fife which is not very exciting elevation wise. It was particularly heart-breaking to be able to see the snow-covered Pennines and Ochils from our house without being able to travel to them.Have you done a season before?
I worked the 2019/20 Winter in Morzine as a chalet host. What’s your go-to chairlift snack?
I love a bit of leftover afternoon tea on the chairlift. Are you first-lifts or last-at-the-bar?
Definitely a first lifts. Although I definitely enjoy a few beers at the bar, I love crisp mornings and perfect pistes too much.Fondue or Raclette?
Such a difficult question! I love cheese so will consume it in almost any form, but I may have to opt for raclette. What do you do on a white-out day?
On a white out day you can often still find me on the hill, but if conditions are too severe, I like to be cosied up with slippers and a hot chocolate.Best part of chalet food?
